    The ortho giant has acquired CD Diagnostics for an undisclosed sum. Chris Newmarker Zimmer Biomet announced this week that it has bought CD Diagnostics (Claymont, DE), which has a specialty in developing immunoassays and biomarker testing. In 2012, CD Diagnostics worked with Zimmer Biomet on musculoskeletal healthcare diagnostics, including the Synovasure periprosthetic joint infection (PJI) test.
