Montevideo, Minn. / 25 January 2010 – Avicenna Technology, an innovative manufacturer primarily serving the medical device industry with Laser, Mechanical, and Organizational Energy services, adds an ISO Class 8 cleanroom to its Montevideo facility.
Avicenna’s new cleanroom is made of Airecell construction which offers hard-walled, modular, and expandable space. This dynamic approach allows for future expansion to accommodate increasing capacity. The 1,000 square-foot cleanroom is divided into two distinct sections: 450 square feet dedicated for laser energy processing; and 550 square feet dedicated to mechanical energy processing and assembly.
“We’re pleased to offer this advanced space to our customers interested in confidently outsourcing their cleanroom operations to Avicenna,” said Chad Carson, Avicenna president. “By sending their cleanroom work to us, our clients are able to concentrate on their core strengths – their true value creation – and leave the component manufacturing and assembly to Avicenna.”
Avicenna uses Laser, Mechanical and Organizational Energy combined with sophisticated automation to prototype, plan, and manufacture products made from a wide range of materials. As an innovative manufacturer and solution provider, Avicenna bridges the technology-solution gap between customer ideas and commercialized products – products that change the way we live.
