CRI Participates in 2012 United Way Day of Caring

The United Way Day of Caring is a day set aside for companies and individuals to participate in hands-on service projects at local human service agencies and schools. CRI was partnered with The Damien Center, a not-for-profit agency that provides services to persons in Central Indiana affected by HIV/AIDS, to move forward each day with dignity and to lead the fight to prevent the spread of HIV.

The “Fall Freshen Up” Project at the Damien Center included tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and stocking the pantry and stuffing a donation packet direct mail campaign promoting their Grand Masquerade Fundraiser. CRI production employees, who are used to catheter assembly on a day-to-day basis, quickly developed efficient processes to complete the tasks at hand. The United Way and Damien Center shared their appreciation, explaining the tasks would not have been completed without the help from CRI.
