August 1, 2013 (Hudson, WI) — Today, Phillips-Medisize Corporation announced the appointment of Rob Werge to the position of VP/GM Global Commercial Division, effective August 1, 2013.
“Several people have stated that Rob was integral to the growth of Nypro, so we are glad he is joining the Phillips-Medisize team,” commented Matt Jennings, President and CEO.
Rob comes to Phillips-Medisize with 24 years of experience with Nypro where he began his career in operations and pre-production working on automation, tooling and process improvement projects. From there, he became involved in launching custom drug delivery products in the medical products group, followed by a promotion of Global Business Unit Manager for the Consumer/Industrial global market segment. Rob was named VP Sales for the Americas Region, responsible for a team of 28 sales professionals and $500 million of business across four major markets; Healthcare, Consumer/Electronics, Packaging and Automotive. His most recent role was VP Emerging Markets where he was responsible for developing and executing a five-year strategic roadmap for the molding and tooling businesses at Nypro Forbes India. Through the years Rob has cultivated solid relationships with many customers.
