ALine's FluoroVette™ is used for applications involving fluorescence detection, including quantitation of double-stranded DNA (dsDNA). The FluoroVette™ fits into all standard fluorometers that accomodate 1 cm x 1 cm cuvette holders using ALine's Universal Adaptor (available in three z-heights). The low birefringent windows are transparent from 220 – 1000 nm. The FluoroVette™ is easy to use – just dispense from your 20 - 200 µL pipettor or use the flowcell version with pumps and automated systems. The cells are flat and fit easily on a microscope stage. Available custom modifications include the addition of porous membranes, valves, and electrodes. Click here for more information.
ALine's short path, precision SpecVette™ is available in 0.050, 0.10, 0.25, 0.50, and 1.0 mm path lengths. It is useful for a variety of sample types and an economical alternative to quartz cuvettes. The cuvettes are easily filled by capillary action using a simple disposable dropper or they can be filled and aspirated using a 20- 200 uL pipetter. The SpecVette™ slides into a 1 cm x 1 cm sample holder for use in a standard spectrometer. The SpecVette™ is UV transparent to 220 nm and disposable so that dilution errors are eliminated. The Universal adaptor supports interface to a single sample holder in your spectrometer or use straight from the box on your transmission or inverted microscope stage. Click here for more information.
