Our business began in 1985 as Specialty Blades to address the needs of industries, original surgical manufacturers, and medical design engineers who required high performance, razor sharp custom-made cutting blades or specialty blades. The Cadence name now brings together three well respected divisions, Cadence Science, IncisionTech and Specialty Blades, to create a premier metals manufacturing company. Cadence is located in Staunton, VA with a second manufacturing facility in Rhode Island that specializes in specialty needle manufacturing, tube fabrication, and swiss machining.
