CMA has a heritage of providing mechanical cable assemblies to the medical industry.  Since 1974 we have been supplying cable assemblies that are used in medical devices, medical equipment and mobility products. Our quality controls assure a cable assembly you can count on each and every time.  If you develop and manufacture products for the medical industry, you understand that collaboration with suppliers is critical in the design phase.  CMA’s design engineers are available to assist with the design of your product to ensure you get a quality cable assembly with maximum performance.

It is our design engineering approach and dedication to providing the most critically designed solution to any product we develop that sets us apart.  The engineering personnel we employ have many years of experience and they use this wealth of knowledge to create not just the finest medical cable assemblies and controls possible, but unique cable solutions specific to each individual customer’s needs.

Each of our design engineers is capable of interfacing with your company’s design engineers to create the unique and custom products that are necessary to make your products work most efficiently.  We specialize in “custom” applications that truly create a solution to your needs.  Many times helping you create a product that works more efficiently than you originally thought possible.

Products for Minimally Invasive Surgical Devices
Let our Design Engineers help you design the right cable assembly for your minimally invasive device.  Whether your device is used in laparoscopy, endoscopy, single port access (SPA) or natural orifice translumenal endoscopy (NOTES) surgery, our miniature medical cable is ideal.  We offer our miniature stranded stainless steel cable in five different constructions and as small as .006" depending on your design requirements.  It is offered as either uncoated or coated with a variety of materials.  If a conduit is required, we offer thermoplastic and Bowden conduits (either lined or unlined) or micro-coiled conduits.

Products for Medical Durable Equipment
CMA has pioneered the design, development and manufacture of a complete line of products for the remote actuation of latches, catches, mechanisms and locking gas springs.  Consisting of custom designed actuators, cable controls and operators, the products provide a complete system for a wide range of applications; beds, chairs, carts, cabinets, monitors, lights and more.  Whatever your product, if you need to control movement or make adjustments, CMA's pull-pull cable systems or push-pull cable assemblies are the solution.
