New technology allows KVA Stainless to produce lightweight, high-strength effective stainless steel tubing with a hardness (HRC of 40+) and ultimate tensile strength (UTS 200+ ksi) ideal for cutters. The company developed patented technology for high-speed welding and thermal processing of air hardenable martensitic stainless steels and other high carbon ferrous alloys, all considered difficult to weld using conventional methods.
