Products:

NEW! Leica DCM 3D Digital Confocal Microscope
Non-destructive measurement combines with high accuracy. The Leica DCM 3D confocal profiler's dual core technology eliminates moving parts and costly lasers. Both confocal and interferometry modes can be used to measure a wide range of surface topographies from mm to nm. This makes it possible to measure flat surfaces with 1nm repeatability and up to 70° of local slope in optically smooth surfaces.

NEW! Leica DVM Digital Versatile Microscopes
With a Leica DVM system, the microscopic image is displayed directly on a high-resolution monitor. The portable zoom optics reach extremely difficult-to-access surfaces for non-destructive inspection of even the largest stationary parts. Leica DVM digital microscopes feature high-quality optics and a wide variety of quantitative analysis options for 2D analysis or advanced 3D surface measurements.

Leica DM2500 M Optical Microscope
All imaging techniques are available on this laboratory workhorse, with rugged and easy-to-use controls that make this versatile materials microscope ideal for reflected and transmitted light inspection. The color-coded diaphragm assistant allows expert imaging even from an apprentice.

Leica StereoZoom® Inspection Microscopes with LED Illumination
Configure the ideal inspection StereoZoom® with your choice of 4:1, 6:1 or 8:1 zoom range, large depth of focus, and wide field of view. The ergonomic design provides comfort and enhances productivity with a 38° viewing angle. The compact design saves precious worktable space, and a variety of LED illumination options eliminates the downtime and expense of replacement bulbs.

Did you know?
If you purchase eligible imaging equipment for your business, you can save in 2011!

The Tax Relief Act of 2010 provides certain business-friendly incentives that could help you to acquire equipment for your business. Primary among the incentives is the use of 100% expensing of eligible equipment purchased between September 9, 2010 and December 31, 2011. This incentive enhances the cash flow benefit for buying products in 2011.

For example, if you purchase $100 of testing equipment in 2011, it would ordinarily tax depreciate over 15 years. You can take an immediate 100% tax deduction for the equipment and obtain a cash net present value of approximately $15 due to the use of this tax incentive.

Most of Leica Microsystems' microscopes and imaging systems are eligible and can be acquired by eligible companies that can claim the 100% expensing tax benefit. Generally, eligible business property is one that has a tax depreciable life of 3 to 15 years and includes machinery and equipment used in business processing / manufacturing.

Consult with your tax advisor to determine if your purchases are eligible.
