Two-Material Molding Services: We have developed unique processes for two-material molding of liquid silicone rubber (LSR) materials onto metal, LSR materials onto plastic, custom rubber materials onto metal, custom rubber materials onto rigid plastic, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE’s) onto rigid plastics and TPE’s onto metal.
Liquid Silicone Rubber Molding: We specialize in molding USP Class VI, restricted or unrestricted silicone materials specified for use in FDA Class I, II and III devices. MRPC processes liquid silicone rubber (LSR) materials with our liquid injection molding (LIM) equipment. In addition to molding, we offer contract assembly and pyrogen-free cleaning and packaging.
Cleanroom Molding: We have four clean rooms to mold your components in a controlled and certified environment. We monitor the particulate count in each of our rooms daily to insure the room meets our prescribed levels of cleanliness. In addition to molding, we also inspect, assemble, test, and package your components all within the same room to eliminate any chance of outside contamination.
Implantable Thermoplastic and LSR Molding: We have the capability to provide our customers with components molded with long term implantable materials produced in our Class 7 (10,000) clean room. We work closely with our raw material suppliers to provide the best material solutions for our customers that require these specialized compounds.
Micro-Molding: We have the capabilities to produce components that are smaller, lighter and have superior physical properties than those produced through conventional molding methods. We produce components with the following materials: Liquid silicone rubber (LSR), Two-material combinations and Implantable thermoplastic materials including PEEK
Medical Rubber Molding: We offer a full range of medical rubber molded products to provide your device with the optimal performance you require. We are experts in the molding of polyisoprene and have developed several compounds that are compliant with Class I, II, and III medical devices.
High Consistency Silicone Rubber Molding: We specialize in the molding of USP Class VI high consistency silicone materials used in FDA Class I, II, and III devices. In addition to our molding expertise, we can also help you specify and develop the most appropriate compound for your unique applications needs.
Silicone Extrusions: We have the capability to extrude a wide range of products for healthcare applications. We process many types of unrestricted silicones into thin-wall, tight-tolerance ID/OD tubing. We can also extrude complex shapes and multilumen tubing, as well as incorporate wire or radiopaque materials into the tubing.
Producing quality components and assemblies is our number-one consideration. Our quality system is continuously upgraded, both with employee training and state-of-the-art inspection equipment, and was recertified to both ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 in 2009.
MRPC's quality management system starts with initial customer discussions concerning component requirements and continues through the finalization of the component design, construction and capability analysis of the production tooled components.
Once production begins, every step of the manufacturing process is monitored and controlled - from control of raw materials to control of the packing and shipping of the finished product.
