Perfecseal High-precision Polycarbonate Thermoformed Parts
Polycarbonate is a thermoformable material that is used for extremely high-precision part applications such as assay trays. Polycarbonate requires custom tooling and processing, including additional drying of the material due to its moisture sensitivity. Perfecseal fabricated custom tooling to successfully accommodate the unique processing requirements of this material. Perfecseal polycarbonate assay trays are designed with wells that meet the required stringent minimum thicknesses and withstand several high-temperature cycles. To be assured of pinhole-free trays, quality inspections for surface flaws and pinholes are completed using proprietary equipment designed and fabricated by Perfecseal.
