Who We Are

Pexco (formerly Filtrona Extrusion) has been serving the medical OEM market with PEXCO® products for over 50 years. Our manufacturing facility in Massachusetts contains 23 extruders and 11 co-extruders and a Class 100,000 clean room. The recently expanded facility in Monterrey, Mexico, houses 16 extruders and 3 co-extruders and a Class 100,000 clean room. These facilities are ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 14001-2004 certified.

Capabilities

Pexco manufactures thermoplastic medical tubing and extrusions. Our capabilities include single and multi-lumen tubing, high-pressure tubing, thermo-bonded paratubing, co-extrusions, tri-extrusions, tube striping, printing and custom profiles. Specializing in medical grade flexible tubing, rigid tubing and custom profiles, Pexco's USP Class VI materials include: PVC, (including non-DEHP), PE, PP, PU, PC, Nylon, HIS, TPE, TPR, Radiopaque and PVC alternatives.

Pexco's in-house contract manufacturing and general-assembly operations include printing, bar-coding, sub-assembly and special packaging. We also offer SPC documentation, on-line measurement controls; in-house wire EDM Cad/Cam system; specialty tube cutting, coiling and banding; solvent bonding of components to tubing, thermo-bonded tube coiling; and chamfering. Kanban or JIT inventory and shipping programs are available.
