You've got a growing medical device product line, but don't have the floor space or the forecasted volumes right now to justify a jump from hand filling and sealing to a form-fill-seal operation. What do you do?
Possible solutions might be adding more people, or adding another shift. More of the same. What if there was a new idea?

The PurePouch machine(www.purepouch.com) is a compact and simple, but effective, packaging solution for medical device manufacturers and contract packagers when hand filling just isn't getting the job done. Using chevron(typically) pouches on rolls supplied by your current vendor(s), the PurePouch machine will increase productivity, usually with fewer employees. The chevron pouches as PurePouch 'raw material' have the 'legs' and chevron sealed in just as they are on a discrete pouch. There are no perforations and the pouch is unopened, so there are no concerns about foreign material. The PurePouch medical device packaging machine makes only the final 3/8" seal, so a PurePouch owner can focus on his/her core competency rather than entering a new industry as a manufacturer of pouches.
Most PurePouch owners need some kind of printing, and there are several options. Each is in-line and does not affect productivity. For printing directly on the pouch, thermal transfer printing is offered in two different print areas; 2" x 4", and 5" x 4". PurePouch can also Print and Apply a label. All offerings allow you to print text, bar codes, symbols, even art.

The productivity you might expect is a function of the product to pouch relationship, but typical output is 15 to 18 cycles/minute. If you choose the PurePouch 2-up option, pouches/minute is nominally doubled. That's upwards of 30 pouches/minute!
The PurePouch machine is robustly constructed, so it will offer many years of reliable and consistent service. Designed only for use in your clean room, it's fully validatable. Although it's a relatively simple machine, PurePouch can be optioned with conveyors, adjustable machine height(an ergonomic benefit), safety interlocks, etc. There's more!

PurePouch's parent company, NACS, Inc.(www.nacsinc.com), is a custom automation outfit. Same people, same building. Most of NACS' work is performed for the medical device industry. So, if your PurePouch machine needs vision, automated part feeding, or ?? , NACS has probably done it, and can do it for you. ...transparently, competently, reliably.
