Dimensional Inspection
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Burnsville, Minnesota, The QC Group houses the Midwest’s largest ISO 17025 accredited Dimensional Inspection Laboratory. The laboratory is staffed by ASQ certified inspectors, technicians, and engineers who have extensive knowledge of our customers manufacturing processes and needs. We specialize in complex geometry using six laser scanners and ten CMM’s. Inspection and scanning capabilities are for parts from microscopic to very large in size with accuracies ranging from sub-micron to .003”. Whether your company is interested in first article inspection of a surgical instrument or needs laser scanning for re-engineering, The QC Group is pleased to offer a comprehensive response to your quality needs.
Reverse Engineering and 3D Scanning Services
Our Reverse Engineering division will precisely scan your medical devices using up to 6 different laser scanning technologies. Scans are developed into highly accurate 3D CAD models in native CAD formats, such as SolidWorks or Pro-E. We also provide comparative analysis which colorizes deviations from the laser scanned part against the CAD file you provide us. Sensitive to our customer’s demanding project deadlines, The QC Group provides results in a minimal amount of time while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Source Inspection
The QC Group’s contract source inspection and staffing services division provides quality, skilled technicians and engineers who have a keen understanding of the medical industry. All applicants are tested for qualifications needed prior to being placed at your facility.
