The foundation of RTX is solid knowledge and experience in designing cost-effective, mass-producible wireless products. The company possesses literally hundreds of man-years of experience with a variety of wireless and wireline standards, plus the accompanying regulatory knowledge for systems based on DECT, WMTS, CAT-iq™, Bluetooth™, Wi-Fi™ and Voice-over-IP.
In addition to product design, RTX also provides contract manufacturing services—either of customized RF embedded modules or complete devices. Using an ISO 13485 certified factory in Asia, RTX produces a variety of system and sub-system solutions used in medical and mission-critical communication devices. Utilizing a flexible manufacturing environment, RTX can support production quantities from just a few thousand units per year, up to a tens-of-thousands per month.
RTX designs and manufactures high-speed production test solutions used by our clients and in our own production lines. These solutions include RF testers (1.4/1.9/2.4/5.8GHz) and multi-function shielded enclosure systems. These devices optimize the speed and efficiency of the manufacturing process, and represent significant cost savings to our customers, relative to the purchase of general purpose test equipment, which typically has higher cost, increased requirements for floor space, and additional training and maintenance requirements.
