Contract Manufacturing
Spectralytics is a contract manufacturing company supporting the medical device community. With 7 wavelengths and over 40 systems, we have the proper laser workstation available to match your application. These workstations range from high power fiberlasers to Femtosecond “cold cutting” laser systems, as well as Nd:YAG, Excimer, fiber and Triple Frequency YAG laser systems.
In addition to laser processing we offer assembly, including lining and heat shrinking of hypotube; electropolishing; heat treating and passivating metal components. Many of these operations are performed in class 10,000 or 100,000 cleanrooms depending on the requirements of your project.
The Company
Spectralytics is dedicated to the medical and micro laser materials processing technology. Our laser solutions can make the smallest of parts with the most critical of tolerances. We work with plastic, metal, composites and more. No job is too odd or too difficult. Best known in the industry for precision stent machining and drilling close tolerance holes required for catheters and embolic protection devices
We provide prototypes as well as research and development to solve complex challenges with a focus on product support and cost-reduction. Our team of in-house engineers and manufacturing specialists combine technical knowledge and know-how from idea to market, so our customers can be confident of reaching a successful outcome.
Spectralytics, an ISO 13485 certified company located in Minnesota, with close proximity to the twin cities, Spectralytics is the “go to” company for your medical laser processing needs.
Company Overview
Spectralytics provides laser solutions to our customers worldwide, across many industries. We can make the smallest of parts with the most critical of tolerances in plastics, metal, composites and more. We also prototype and in some cases do complete technology transfers. No job is too odd or too difficult.
Whatever you call it, micro-holedrilling, micromachining, precision laser drilling, medical device manufacturing, stent production, stent cutting, stent machining, or laser welding, Spectralytics does it. Laser ablation, laser skiving, laser marking, laser stripping, precision medical leads, surgical electrodes - it's all part of our vocabulary. From precision stent machining to the drilling of close tolerance holes required for catheters and embolic protection devices - and that's just the beginning of our capabilities.
