Synergy Health PLC, with group headquarters in the UK, acquired BeamOne in 2011. The US business has now been rebranded as Synergy Health AST, LLC and its primary focus is the sterilization of medical devices, pharmaceuticals and tissue products. Synergy Health AST, LLC offers Electron Beam and Ethylene Oxide (EO) sterilization modalities. The company also assists customers with qualification issues, management of sterilization validation programs and support services.
The Americas division has 6 service centers across the USA and Costa Rica, including:

- Lima, Ohio
- Oldsmar, Florida
- Saxonburg, Pennsylvania
- Denver, Colorado
- Alajuela, Costa Rica.
The Oldsmar, Florida facility, which opened in late 2011, is the first EO service center in the US for Synergy Health. The Costa Rica center is currently undergoing expansion, with an additional Electron Beam being installed; we are also adding to our capabilities in that market with a new EO facility. This is all to be completed by the end of 2012.
