The Future of Quality in Electronics

Cal-Bay Systems

Predicting the future of some industries is much easier than others, especially when the range is 25 years. For example, we can all imagine that an average airline flight for a middle class person in 25 years will be fairly similar to modern airline flights of today, such as the Boeing 787 DreamLiner or the Airbus A380. The Boeing 737, which first flew in 1967, is still very common today, especially for passengers of Southwest Airlines. So, in 2013, the average flyer is using technology that was available 45 years before. Likewise, in predicting the future of quality in electronics in 2035, we’ll be taking advantage of a variety of modern quality techniques available in 2013.
