Texas Instruments' latest part for ultrasound systems, the TX810, is the first fully integrated 8-channel, current programmable transmit/receive switch, designed to protect the receive electronics of the ultrasound system from the high-voltage signals of the pulser. The TX810 comes in a super small 6mm x 6mm QFN package providing over 50% board space savings over discrete solutions and featuring programmable bias currents to adjust and reduce power consumption.
